3 Wheel Track ClinicsTotal Control TrainingThe Total Control 3 Wheel Track Clinic is a truly unique learning experience that is available for three-wheeled Can-Ams for the first time in the nation! You must have at least 3000 miles of three-wheel riding as a prerequisite for this fantastic day of learning on a closed course. You and your Can-Am three-wheeler get to ride on what is considered by many to be the best training track in the country-Willow Springs' Horse Thief Mile. This track was specifically designed to replicate the challenges of Southern California canyon roads featuring large elevation changes and multiple types of turns (including decreasing radius). Add to the experience world-class traction, lots of run-off room and spectacular views, and you have the most fun way to learn the limits of your Can-Am in a safe, controlled environment. All of this comes with professional observation and instruction in advanced riding techniques. All of the professional observers are Total Control-certified advanced riding instructors and provide you with feedback and advice based on your riding on the track at real road speeds. Each hour of the day is spent on different exercises and each student rides the track, practices in the training lot and takes time to relax, as there are three 20-minute sessions (track, practice, break) for each hour of the day. If you've never been on a track before, this is the perfect time to try it out. Everyone rides at their own pace and the sessions are limited to 12 riders at a time on the track so there is nothing to be nervous about. Day One (Saturday)You head out of the paddock and onto the track to ride three laps at a time, while advanced riding instructors-placed in key locations-professionally observe your riding and, via radio, provide feedback to instructors in the hot pit lane. After three laps you pull into the hot pit lane and you receive personalized feedback on your riding, then you go right back out on the track for more practice and apply the feedback that the instructor just gave you. There is also open free practice at the end of the day. Additionally, we provide instruction and training of our advanced techniques in the paddock area when you are not on the track to help build and reinforce the skills. Day Two (Sunday)Day two is a day of practice and open track sessions, but there is no formalized instruction. We do provide instructors to the group as a whole (both on track and in the paddock) to provide observations to you should you want additional feedback. Track Practice is a great opportunity to continue to develop what you learned on day one of the Track Clinic. If you have previously taken one of our two- or three-wheeled Total Control IRC, ARC, Track Clinic, 3WRC or California Motorcyclist Safety Program Motorcyclist Training Courses (from 2015-2019), you are eligible to sign up for this day.
